Project Overview
Our team participated in a 6-week team project organized by a web development community called Chingu.
The challenge was to build a real-world project in our remote teams. With that, we designed and built We Train U, an online learning and teaching platform for students looking to switch their career paths.
The Idea
The first step is to choose an idea. When I brainstorm on ideas, I engage in projects that would help people in the real world. Our team and I created a list with a short description of each of our application ideas and narrowed it down to the one we liked best. In the end, we agreed to design and develop a web application that provides online learning and teaching resources for students looking to switch their career paths called We Train U.
The idea was inspired by our team’s experience in switching our career paths and relying on various online sources to build our skillsets. There are many online learning resources available that provides courses tailored to the user’s chosen career path, but we want the platform to provide more resources to help prepare the user for their next interview, including chat features, profile matching, and career road-mapping.
